Using ChatGPT To Prepare For Interviews 🤖

I’ve been using ChatGPT for about 2 months for my day job, one way by preparing my candidates for interviews with end clients.

It’s taken the world by storm. People are figuring out how to hack it to make everyday life easier for themselves.

So have I, and the results have been astounding.

I’ve received a much hire submittal to interview to hire ratio than the previous months of 2023.

The best part is, it’s pretty easy to do. In today’s issue I’ll show you how.

Let’s dive in 👇:

We’re going to pretend I’m an Angular Developer. I’m going to use a basic job description I found via LinkedIn real quick.

All we are going to do is literally copy and paste this into chat gpt.

From here, we’re going to ask the prompt “please write me 20 interview questions a hiring manager would ask me based off this job description”

(note, yes I say please and thank you, you never know if AI takes over the world like SkyNet 😂)

Here are examples of what populates

Let’s say we want to focus on our soft skills. Use the prompt “please write me 5 more questions based off this job description and your responses for soft skills and teamwork”

Voila. You can do this for any of the topics to get a little more in depth based off the original questions.

Now, what I want you to do is start practicing your answers. You can do this with a peer or record yourself and go back and watch the tape. Do this enough times where you have muscle memory down.

Then, go back and ask it to give you 20 more questions because remember, the questions they give you may be including but not limited to anything you might see on the actual interview.

Boom. There you go.
